Dedicated professionals including guidance counselors, nurses and school resource officers make invaluable contributions to schools each day. Most of these employees work in our schools at lower salaries than they could command elsewhere. They do so because they want to make a difference in the lives of students.  Whether it is to offer advice, cure a stomachache or teach children the danger in drugs, these employees are there for students every day. Special Services Staff Appreciation Day is scheduled for March 8, 2012, and will continue to be in March each year. We will honor the special services staff with a Mystery theme this year.
